Care Plan – Terms & Conditions

Full membership terms for the Cut N Crank Care Plan.

1. Membership

The Cut N Crank Care Plan is a preventative maintenance membership and is not an insurance policy or breakdown recovery service. Membership provides access only to the benefits associated with the selected Care Plan level.

2. Monthly Payments

Membership fees are payable monthly by Direct Debit or another approved recurring payment method. Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of membership benefits.

3. Minimum Membership

The minimum membership period is 12 months. The included annual engine service becomes available after 12 consecutive monthly payments have been received. If membership is cancelled before 12 months, the included annual service is forfeited.

4. Annual Engine Service

Where included, the annual engine service becomes available after 12 consecutive monthly payments have been received.

The included service covers:

If additional items or quantities are required, these will be charged at current Cut N Crank rates. Customers will always be informed before any additional charges are incurred.

5. Priority Booking

Members receive priority booking over non-members. Priority booking does not guarantee same-day or next-day attendance. Response times depend on workload, location, weather and operational circumstances.

6. Technical Advice

Telephone, WhatsApp and remote technical support are provided in good faith based on the information supplied. Remote advice does not replace an on-site inspection and Cut N Crank accepts no responsibility where incorrect or incomplete information has been provided.

7. Labour Discounts

Labour discounts apply only to standard labour charges and do not apply to parts, consumables, oil, travel costs or third‑party services. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers.

8. Call-Outs

Unless specifically included within your Care Plan, call-out charges remain payable. Members may receive reduced call-out charges where applicable.

9. Exclusions

The Care Plan does not include:

10. Customer Responsibilities

Members must maintain sufficient oil and coolant levels, report faults promptly, follow manufacturer recommendations and allow reasonable access to the vessel. Failure to do so may affect eligibility for Care Plan benefits.

11. Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your Care Plan within the first 14 days of joining and receive a full refund of any membership fees paid.

After the initial 14‑day cooling‑off period, you may cancel your membership at any time by providing 30 days’ written notice. Any included benefits become unavailable once notice has been given.

Cut N Crank reserves the right to cancel membership due to non‑payment, abusive behaviour, fraudulent claims or repeated misuse of membership benefits.

12. Changes to Membership

Cut N Crank reserves the right to amend pricing or membership benefits. Members will receive at least 30 days’ notice before any changes take effect.

13. Limitation of Liability

Cut N Crank shall not be liable for loss of cruising time, loss of income, alternative accommodation costs, consequential losses or delays caused by weather, parts availability or circumstances beyond our control.

14. Acceptance

By joining the Cut N Crank Care Plan, members confirm they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

15. Existing Faults

Existing faults are not covered by membership benefits and will be quoted separately. Repairs may be required before certain benefits become available.

16. Membership Applies to One Boat

Each membership applies to one named vessel. Transfers may be permitted at the discretion of Cut N Crank following a review of the new vessel.

17. Fair Usage Policy

Unlimited technical support is provided for genuine boating queries. Excessive or unreasonable use may result in limitations following discussion with the member.

18. Operating Area

Priority attendance applies only within the normal operating area. Attendance outside this area may incur additional travel charges and longer response times.

19. Appointments

Members must provide reasonable notice when booking servicing or inspections. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.

20. Missed Appointments

If Cut N Crank attends a booked appointment and cannot gain access to the vessel, a call-out or missed appointment charge may apply.

21. Parts Availability

Repairs remain subject to the availability of replacement parts and supplier lead times.

22. Safety

Cut N Crank reserves the right to refuse work where a vessel is considered unsafe or where working conditions present unacceptable risk.

23. Abuse of Membership

Membership benefits must not be shared with other boat owners or used for vessels not registered on the membership. Misuse may result in immediate cancellation without refund.

24. Right to Refuse Membership

Cut N Crank reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership where a vessel is not suitable or where membership is being used contrary to these Terms & Conditions.

25. Servicing Schedule

Where recommended maintenance is declined, Cut N Crank may suspend certain Care Plan benefits until issues have been addressed.
