Care Plan – FAQs

Your most common questions answered.

Can I join if my boat already has a fault?

Yes. Existing faults can still be repaired, but they are not included as part of your Care Plan benefits.

Can I cancel my membership?

You may cancel your Care Plan within the first 14 days of joining and receive a full refund of any membership fees paid.

After the initial 14‑day cooling‑off period, you can cancel your membership at any time by providing 30 days’ written notice.

Is this breakdown cover?

No. The Care Plan is a preventative maintenance membership designed to help keep your boat reliable. It is not an insurance or breakdown recovery service.

When do I receive my included annual service?

Where included, your annual service becomes available after 12 consecutive monthly payments have been received.

Failed Direct Debit Payments

If a Direct Debit payment is returned unpaid by the member's bank, the outstanding payment will remain due to Cut N Crank Ltd.

A £5.00 administration charge may be applied to cover the additional administration and processing costs associated with a failed payment.

Where appropriate, Cut N Crank Ltd may re-present the original unpaid Direct Debit for payment using the applicable Bacs re-presentation process. Any re-presented Direct Debit will be for the original outstanding payment amount and will not include the administration charge.

The administration charge will be payable separately and will be added to the member's outstanding balance.

Before re-presenting an unpaid Direct Debit, Cut N Crank Ltd may contact the member to agree a suitable collection date and ensure sufficient funds are available.

Repeated failed payments may result in the Care Plan membership being reviewed or cancelled in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
